A New York man pleaded guilty Tuesday to two counts of selling a counterfeit, dangerous drug in exchange for cash.
Sgt. John A. Beasley Jr., of Staten Island, had been charged with one count of receiving a false prescription from a pharmacist with a street address and two counts of selling a counterfeit, dangerous drug in exchange for cash.
Beasley had pleaded guilty in January to receiving a counterfeit prescription for Viagra from a pharmacist in New York City. He had also pleaded guilty in the second-degree criminal complaint against two other men in connection to the drug.
The drugs were sold to customers in Staten Island and in other addresses in the United States.
Beasley has been held without bond at the end of the three-month trial. He faces up to 20 years in prison for each count of receiving a false prescription from a pharmacy.
